Celebrate the return of grilling weather with these spicy Paleo burgers!
Spice up your burger meat with just a few ingredients you probably already have in your Paleo pantry. Curry powder lends a deep earthy flavor, while paprika adds smokiness. Diced yellow onion and cilantro add texture, while an egg helps bind everything together. Simply use your hands to mix the ingredients, form it into patties, and grill!
If you don’t have a grill, simply grease a cast-iron skillet or grill pan with a bit of coconut oil, then fry your burgers over medium-high heat.
You can serve your burgers with your favorite Paleo-friendly toppings, like guacamole, lettuce, or tomato. If you want to take it a step further, we suggest serving them in between sweet potato buns!
To make the sweet potato buns, slice a large sweet potato into about half-inch rounds. Set on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, and roast at 400°F for about 20 minutes, or until soft. Alternatively, you can serve your curry burgers wrapped in lettuce, or all by itself. Enjoy!
